Thank you Dan. As always, thoughtful and spot on commentary. Can't thank you enough for the chance you took on yourself and your team. The content created by Meadowlark is amazing!

Wait, all I heard last week was excuses regarding the dolphins despicable handling of Tua, support of this “independent neurologist” who cleared Tua, Chris cote repeatedly suggesting Tua didn’t have a concussion Sunday, Dan even prefacing his questions with “if Tua did have a concussion Sunday” in his interview with a brain doctor, and completely disregarding people on the Internet who used their eyes to assess the situation — rather than letting their irrational miami fandom guide them. These Internet commenters were correct by the way.

Even in this article it is “blame football” as to not upset dolphins. Feels like maintaining access is most important to you.

Now that the independent doctor has been terminated, will chris cote and everyone else on the show acknowledge how ridiculous they sounded Friday?

Let’s not try to eliminate paid entertainment for the nobility of a writers award.

I wholeheartedly agree with Big Dan on this point. Glad DanO got a vacation he’s been better since then. Show is better when he’s thinking shot about Val.

I've been in SoFla since 1990. Back then I always looked forward to read Miami Herald Senior Sports Writer Edwin Pope's opinion pieces. A young, skinny Dan LeBatard would write a column every now and then. And I thought his arguments belong at the Cafe Versailles in Calle Ocho. But boy the last few years have shown me how a man grows and matures in his field. And how a 'sports-man' stays up to date on everything culture! This is Dan's best essay!! Raw, logical, clear; simply un-impeachable! Thanks Dan

I'm no Dr! But the first time I wonder if Tua was going to wobble. He did; but I didn't expect him to fall twice! 😳What? He came back to play? 😳 What? He starting against the Bengas? I watched after that sack as I expected Tua to get up very slowly. I didn't expect to see what I saw, but it was no surprise. I filled with ire and cursed the Dolphins. Not because of a potentially winning QB, but because the young man immobilized on the field.

Nowinski is a clown selling his book. He asserts that the Miami Dolphins are responsible for murder. He is a raving lunatic and should be dismissed.

No discussion on why TNF is even a thing, or the dirtiness of Milano or Tupou’s hit. There have been multiple instances of players (Justin Reid for example) coming back into a game after a head injury this Sunday.

Yet one franchise gets singled out for the witch-hunt.

It might help if people actually understood how the program worked. The consultant has no actual power in releasing a player or holding them up. That responsibility is still at the sole discretion of the team doctor. With all the conflicts of interest inherent in the decision, there will never be a player held out if there is ANY kind of alternate explanation that can cover collective asses
